Ann Kristen Krier is a self-taught artist. Born in upstate New York, Ann began creative pursuits in early kindergarten, attending craft workshops at the University of Vermont as a child. Throughout her life, Ann has also held a deep appreciation for all visual surroundings.

Color, perspective, finishes, graphics, interior magazines and enumerable supplies from her great aunts and grandmother would pave the way for her explosion into the creative marketplace.  Surrounded by paper, fabric and markers, Ann's young life revolved around creativity.

Now with sketch pads and Sharpies at the ready, Ann's life revolves around where ever her children lead her. Seconded only by her love of color and texture, her devotion to aesthetic arts, her three  children and her husband are complimented by her style.

After achieving a new record low in SAT's Vocabulary segment while at Pittsford Mendon High School; Ann attended college at Muskingum College in New Concord, OH where art was not an every day event. Majoring in such practical things as computer science, math and psychology, she is now adept at analyzing her PC, solving for "x" and interpolating  the pre-teen mind, in addition to pursuing the ultimate IDEA!.

Ann enjoys life in the piedmont region of beautiful North Carolina with her family, and their dog, Murphy.
